Terms of Use

1. The service

Collagopal is a free photo collage editor that runs in your browser. There is no registration, login, subscription, payment, or advertising. We do not maintain a server database of your photos or projects. Google Analytics is used for usage statistics, as described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Your photos and rights

You retain your rights in the photos you use and the collages you create. Coffee Coding does not claim ownership of them. You are responsible for having the copyright, permissions, and any necessary consent of people depicted in your photos. Using Collagopal does not grant you rights in someone else's content.

You may use your exported collages for personal or commercial purposes, provided you have the necessary rights to all included content. This does not transfer ownership of Collagopal's branding, software, or example images to you. Third-party software remains subject to its own licenses.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use the service unlawfully, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, distribute malicious code, interfere with the site, or attempt unauthorized access to its infrastructure. You are responsible for how you use or share your exports.

4. Local storage and backups

Photos and editing data are processed on your device and automatically saved in this browser's IndexedDB. This is not a cloud backup and does not synchronize across browsers or devices. Browser cleanup, storage limits, private browsing, device failure, or software changes may delete saved work.

Save important work as a project file and keep your original photos. Coffee Coding cannot retrieve or restore files stored only on your device. You are responsible for the security of your device and any files you download or share.

5. Availability and limitations

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, compatibility with every device, or preservation of local data. Features may change or be discontinued.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Coffee Coding is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, including loss of locally stored work. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or gross negligence where applicable, or limits your mandatory consumer rights.

6. Changes and questions

Updated terms will be published on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be identified here, with additional notice or consent where required by law. Changes do not retroactively remove rights you already have. Please contact us about questions or disputes; mandatory protections under applicable law remain in effect.
